About the role Are you a skilled Communications Writer with a passion for making a difference? CAP is seeking an experienced fundraising Communications Writer, to join our experienced Fundraising & Communications team on a part-time basis. In this 30-hour week role, you'll craft quality and compelling content for a diverse range of stakeholders, including supporters, churches, clients, and the public. This is your chance to leverage your skills, while playing a part in CAP's vision, ending money chaos in Aotearoa. Key areas of responsibility for the team include to:  Contribute to increasing awareness and amplifying CAP's presence and reputation as a leading organisation in combating money chaos in Aotearoa.Play a part in enhancing donor engagement and fostering strong connections with supporters.Develop innovative strategies to help enhance CAP's donor experience and drive income growth.Cultivate strong relationships that contribute to CAP's financial growth and overall impact.About you You are excited to bring your professionalism and expertise to enable the greatest possible impact for whanau experiencing money chaos in Aotearoa.  You are a courageous and intentional person who leverages your skills and expertise to do what is right for the Kaupapa and the people you're serving. You are ready to undertake a journey – not only committed to your own professional and personal transformation, but you are deeply invested in bringing impact and enabling transformation in others.  You'll also bring relevant experience for the role: Experience working in a non-profit environment, with 2+ years in a similar role in communications & fundraising.Strong understanding of fundraising communication techniques.Experience in creating internal and external communications material and campaigns in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, compelling content.Excellent listening & communication skills.Able to quickly establish rapport and build relationships with a wide range of people Experience interviewing people across diverse backgrounds Confidence using multiple technology systems About CAP Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is a professional and client-centric service provider.
