About the role | Mo te turanga mahi
This role leads Engineering New Zealand's engagement function, including contributing to our advocacy work for the engineering profession. This includes:
Developing and delivering a communications and engagement programme.Collaborating with project teams, providing specialist communications advice and support.Driving media engagement including planning, actions and training for senior leadership and technical experts.Engaging with members and key stakeholders to address public affairs matters as they arise.Leading internal communications. You'll be a strategic thinker and trusted adviser who thrives on getting things done. You'll bring extensive communications experience including:
Strategy and planning.Delivering a diverse work programme.Building relationships with senior managers, staff and stakeholders.Media and issues management.Expertise in public policy would be ideal.
