A prominent New Zealand organization is seeking a Communications and Creative Manager to join their team.
This dynamic role will lead internal communications efforts and work closely with a team of creatives to build and manage awareness of the organisation's work and events within the design and architectural community.
This role is perfect for someone with management experience who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You'll be responsible for overseeing communication strategies, media relations, and content creation for various channels, helping shape the organisation's brand and voice.Candidates who are available to start early January will be preferred for this role, with the position potentially beginning as a contract-to-permanent opportunity.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain a stakeholder management process, including a contact database and communication plans targeting key groups.Advise on internal communication tools and coordinate internal communication events.Oversee the weekly development and delivery of a digital newsletter, sourcing and creating stories of relevance to the industry.Develop award citations for key industry awards and work with media to share notable stories and achievements.Commission and edit print publications such as annual reports and event-related collateral.Oversee content creation and maintenance for the organization's website.Support media relations, public engagement, and marketing initiatives.Assist in the development of promotional materials and event planning.Develop and implement a strategic communications plan to enhance brand identity and awareness.Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.Minimum of five years of relevant experience in communications and public relations.Proven management experience and the ability to lead a team.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Event coordination or management experience.Basic graphic design skills (experience with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator a plus).Available for an immediate start, with an early January start preferred.For more information, please contact Henry Shaw at Parker Bridge on ******
