About the Role: In this newly created role reporting to the Communications and Brand Engagement Manager, you'll engage with the business to deliver communication initiatives which align with LIC priorities.
Your expertise will be crucial in crafting clear, consistent, and compelling messaging that resonates with both internal and external audiences.
You'll lead a talented team, supporting the development, execution and delivery of communication plans that enhance LIC's reputation.
Key Responsibilities: Lead communication projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery.
Shape and deliver compelling messaging for internal and external audiences.
Lead and mentor the communications team to achieve high performance and oversee the delivery of all communications activities.
Maintain strong relationships with key journalists, manage media enquiries and execute the earned media calendar for LIC.
About You: You'll have the ability to spot opportunities and risks for the business and build a strong reputation for providing trusted and sound communications advice.
You'll also bring: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role, managing a range of communications activities.
Leadership skills and a proactive, results-driven mindset.
Strong media relationships and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication, writing, and project management abilities.
Ability to multitask and deliver results within tight deadlines.
Creative thinking and attention to detail.
A tertiary qualification in public relations, communications, or journalism.
