Job DescriptionReporting to the Head of Brand, Communications, & Marketing, the Executive/Senior Executive for Communications will develop and implement internal and external corporate communications strategies and plans, aimed at enhancing the image and reputation of the YTL PowerSeraya Group.ResponsibilitiesExternal Communications1.
Develop the communications strategy in alignment with key business prioritiesHandle all media queries (proactive and reactive)Develop press releases, FAQs, talking points, and narratives when requiredDevelop media briefing documents, media interview facilitation and pre-interview spokesperson briefing when requiredMedia engagements with key media (mainstream, local business, energy media)Research, identify and pitch for stories/interviews as appropriateDaily media monitoring to constantly stay ahead of developing digital media channels in order to mitigate risks or exploit opportunitiesDevelop single narrative and ensure messages align2.
Implement and deliver branding/imageAct as one of the main points of coordination within the GroupAssist in developing and managing the Group's initiativesBrand profiling and positioning as requiredBrand guardian of the company's branding and corporate content materials3.
Develop and maintain digital media presenceLinkedIn accountMaintain and update website contents4.
Establish presence in the industry by aligning narratives about our business and participate in industry-driven forums, etc.5.
Crisis CommunicationAct as central point of contact with Energy Market Authority's Communications teamOversee crisis communications with key stakeholders, including preparation and drafting of holding statementsInternal Communications1.

Boost Engagement and ProductivityCreate conversations - develop Communications Roadmap to address and manage various stages of behavioural shifts in people going through a change process for employee engagementDevelop content and organise staff-bonding eventsForge closer ties/bridging the gap between employeesLeverage on all communication channels and repurpose contentJob RequirementsPreferably a Degree with strong passion to work in the communications spaceMinimum 2 years of experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations agencyExcellent writing, editing, proofreading and presentation skillsPreferably Mandarin proficient, to liaise with Chinese mediaResourceful, and able to work both independently and in teamsStrong interpersonal, time-management and organizational skillsCreative and self-driven
