In this supportive role, you'll work closely alongside the Communications & Engagement Manager and the Chief Executive to help advance the Council's mission.
You'll play a vital part in fostering meaningful engagement with members and stakeholders through the development and implementation of high-quality internal and external communications and content.
The key areas of focus in this role include: Content Development: Create marketing materials and content to raise awareness of the Council's initiatives, including campaigns like 'World Restart a Heart' Website and Social Media Management: Manage, post, and update content on the Council's website and social media channels (Facebook and X/Twitter) Instructor Liaison: Act as the primary contact for life support instructors, building and maintaining strong relationships Pastoral Care Coordination: Oversee the Whakawhanaungatanga Pastoral Care programme, providing support and regular follow-ups for instructors Training Facilitation: Organise and facilitate online and in-person training seminars for instructors Administrative Support: Maintain the CRM database, manage the shared email inbox with the Administration Assistant, and contribute to key initiatives and projects for the Council.
This is a permanent part-time position, 0.8FTE (32 hours per week) based in Wellington Central and is perfect for someone who values work-life balance without compromising on commitment.
