Nurse Maude is looking for an experienced Communications professional for a 6 month contract, 24 hours a week (flexi-working) that reports to the Communications Manager.
Based in Merivale, Christchurch, you will assist with a review and update of client, supporter and employee-facing materials that supports our growing organisation.Nurse Maude has been providing care in the community since 1896 and currently has services in Canterbury, Nelson/Marlborough, and Wellington that includes Homecare, District Nursing, Specialty Clinics, Prescription Supplies, School Based Nursing, Hospice Palliative Care, a Care Home, and Health & Mobility Shop.
Nurse Maude is a registered charity, and our fundraising activities to support our work include seven Hospice Shops, TradeMe, individual giving, Trust applications, and Major Donor development.He momo/About youThis will be a busy and varied role that will suit someone with several years of communications experience, who enjoys working on their own initiative and is focused on delivering high-quality results.
Experience of working in the health and/or charity sectors would be beneficial, as would experience of writing copy, editing website and intranet material, proofreading, liaising with graphic designers, and printers.
