Te Mahi/About the PositionNurse Maude is looking for an experienced Communications professional for a 6 month contract, 24 hours a week (flexi-working) that reports to the Communications Manager.
Based in Merivale, Christchurch, you will assist with a review and update of client, supporter and employee facing materials that supports our growing organisation.Nurse Maude has been providing care in the community since 1896 and currently has services in Canterbury, Nelson/Marlborough and Wellington that includes Homecare, District Nursing, Specialty Clinics, Prescription Supplies, School Based Nursing, Hospice Palliative Care, a Care Home and Health & Mobility Shop.
Nurse Maude is a registered charity and our fundraising activities to support our work include seven Hospice Shops, TradeMe, individual giving, Trust applications and Major Donor development.He momo/About youThis will be a busy and varied role that will suit someone with several years of communications experience, who enjoys working on their own initiative and is focused on delivering high quality results.
Experience of working in the health and/or charity sectors would be beneficial, as would experience of writing copy, editing website and intranet material, proof reading, liaising with graphic designers and printers.
