We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Lawyer to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional legal solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on a range of commercial legal issues, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and risk management.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and documents.
Conduct legal research and provide insights on regulatory changes affecting clients' businesses.
Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and legal proceedings as necessary.
Collaborate with other legal professionals and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
What You'll Need:
LLB or equivalent law degree; an LLM is a plus.
Current admission to practice law from NZLS.
3+ years of experience in commercial law post-qualification.
Strong understanding of corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
