Commercial Solicitor - In-House

Our client is looking for a Commercial Solicitor to join their highly regarded and successful in-house legal team.
Based in Cambridge, this is an exciting opportunity to join an early-stage start-up company where you will get to make an impact on the business every day.
This is a wide and varied position offering exposure to high-quality commercial/IP matters.
In this position, you will provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements with a bias towards intellectual property.
A strong grounding in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts is essential.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and good business acumen.
You will need to be hungry and ambitious, keen to push your career forward in a vibrant, fast-moving organisation.
In-house experience would be desirable, but the client would consider a private practice lawyer looking to move in-house who can demonstrate good business and commercial skills.
Our client envisages that candidates between newly qualified to 4 years PQE plus will have the relevant skills/knowledge for this position.
However, this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants, and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but have the relevant experience.
