We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Sales Manager who is ready to take ownership of this role and join our Commercial team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working closely with the regional branch managers to pursue and achieve specific sales and business development goals.About the role: The position will be responsible for the practical approach in attaining new business and support the sales of commercial refrigeration products, refrigeration and HVAC service business development, and food service opportunities. Work with existing and new customers to promote the growth the company and delivery of sales targets for our Tauranga manufactured products. This sales position will require the ability to seek out new opportunities, relentlessly focus on the customer requirements, present solutions to customers, leverage partnerships within Hussmann and Panasonic and be fully engaged with the team and think like an owner. In this role your key responsibilities will be: Develop, maintain, and optimise customer relations through planned and regular sales visits and communications. Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with peer Hussmann, and Panasonic organisations. Collaborate effectively with account managers, application & design engineering teams, marketing, and operations to develop strategy, data analysis, for specific end-user customers. Close new business deals by coordinating and ensuring we meet client expectations. Support the relationships with Foodstuffs South Island, increasing awareness and understanding of McAlpine Hussmann, with a view to support Company growth. Identify and qualify new business prospects and incorporate them into strategic action plans to grow the business, leverage synergies and opportunities within Hussmann and Panasonic Prepare Sales contracts and negotiate business terms with clients. Present key findings of trends in the market to stakeholders effectively, by showcasing long term business direction, and strategy. We are seeking people who possess the below experience and competencies. Proven working experience as a business development representative, sales executive, or a relevant role. Proven sales track record. Experience in customer support is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce). Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Market knowledge. Communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build rapport. Time management and planning skills. Ability to build and maintain key relationships both internally and externally.
