Work autonomously, managing a large, leased commercial property portfolio.
Based out of Hamilton, the Bay of Plenty, or possibly Auckland.
We are partnering with a nationwide organisation in the search for a Commercial Property Manager for an hourly rate contract. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced property professional to manage a large commercial property portfolio and deliver exceptional occupier services. The portfolio spans across the central North Island, primarily in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty area, with some locations in Tairawhiti/Gisborne, Taupo, Rotorua, and Taranaki.
The role requires someone to: Manage the regions leased commercial property portfolio, ensuring security of tenure and value for money.
Develop and implement leasing strategies that support short and long-term organisational goals.
Perform strategic and tactical lease negotiations and leasing transactions, including renewals and reviews.
Look for opportunities to reduce property expenditure or optimise under-utilised spaces.
The desired experience or background of our preferred candidate: Has recent experience managing a large portfolio of commercial property, either as a commercial property consultant, commercial landlord, or through a similar role within a corporate or government organisation.
Experience managing both expense and revenue leases.
Brings a strategic lens to a property portfolio and understands tactical negotiation of leases.
Have the ability to undertake financial feasibility and whole of life cost modelling.
This is an hourly rate contract with an immediate start which could be based out of the Waikato or Bay of Plenty Region, or possibly Auckland.
