We're on the hunt for a passionate and talented Commercial Partnerships Manager to supercharge Halter's growth in New Zealand's Dairy and Beef sectors. This role is all about energy, strategy, and impact—you'll be driving high-value partnerships, steering and delivering transformative initiatives, and helping us achieve our ambitious growth goals. As the go-to expert for building strong, strategic relationships, you'll lead negotiations, execute game-changing strategies, and be a critical force behind Halter's success. Reporting to and collaborating closely with our Head of Corporate (NZ), the partnerships you develop will be instrumental in generating revenue and supporting success across all customer teams. The ideal person will be able to give inspiring examples of identifying, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships or initiatives that have boosted business growth. You have collaborated and driven outcomes with internal teams to ensure initiatives are delivered to market, providing meaningful results and scalability. Your expertise has led to structuring agreements that balance organisational objectives with partner interests. With a history of managing complex B2B relationships, you have delivered short and long-term value to stakeholders. Ideally, you possess an understanding of dairy and beef industry trends and dynamics that will allow you to identify emerging opportunities. You are comfortable engaging with high-level stakeholders and excel at managing communications both internally and externally.
What your day could look like
Value Delivery with Commercial Partners: Identify, scope, and deliver world-class initiatives that provide measurable value to farmers, Halter and our partners.
External Relationships: Lead meetings with external partners, and understand the business structure, needs and problems, to unlock opportunities. Clearly communicate Halter functionality and benefits highlighting value relative to each enterprise.
Negotiation and Agreements: Lead negotiations for partnership contracts and agreements, working closely with legal and finance teams.
Cross-functional collaboration and Enablement: Work closely with product, customer success, and support teams to ensure exceptional delivery and results for Halter and its partners.
Brand Development: Unlock opportunities to strengthen Halter's brand reputation, generate leads and support revenue expansion.
Networking: Establish and maintain Halter's industry presence by leveraging relationships and representing the company at events and conferences.
Strategy and Execution: Continuously shape and execute a commercial partnerships strategy that grows our partnerships channel and supports Halter's revenue growth ambitions.
Performance and Reporting: Set and track KPIs for partnerships, reporting progress to the Head of Corporate (NZ) and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities by proactively prospecting and qualifying new opportunities.
