We are seeking a highly-skilled Commercial Manager to join our dynamic and growing team at Northland Interiors based in Whangarei, Northland. This is a full-time role where you will play a crucial part in driving the overall commercial success of our growing company. With a highly experienced team focused on excellence in all our deliverables, we have the product and the people to take this company to the next level.
Core Functions of the Role:
Developing and implementing effective commercial strategies to maximise profitability and growth
Overseeing day-to-day commercial operations, including contract negotiations, pricing, and client relationships
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that align with the company's strategic vision
Analysing market trends and competitor activity to inform decision-making
Working with key stakeholders to deliver value, quality and excellence in all aspects of the business
Providing leadership and guidance to the commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence
Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations and internal policies
Our Ideal Candidate:
Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior commercial and/or management role ideally with some experience in interiors and/or trades and construction
Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategies
Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate contracts and manage client relationships effectively
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and inspire both internal and external stakeholders
Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience ideal but not essential
