The Role:
As a Commercial Manager, you will work closely with customers who are often family-owned SMEs. Commonly you will be working across industries such as agriculture, transport, forestry and construction. These customers are located across the Hawks Bay, so some travel will be required. You will help customers access vital funding and assist them navigate financial challenges, which impact their lending, where possible.
Primary duties will include:
You will develop and grow a customer lending portfolio with a focus on long term relationships.
You will travel to businesses and really understand their operations and challenges.
It will be important to compile lending papers and supporting information which is used by head office for credit decisions.
Core Requirements Include:
You will be able to build relationships with owner operator SME businesses with a customer focus.
Ideally you will have exposure to lending with the ability to compile lending papers.
You will have solution selling skills.
