Job Overview: We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Central Sales team based in Havelock North. Primary Role: Develop, maintain, and grow a customer portfolio with sustainable long-term client relationships which meet UDC's objectives for revenue and credit quality. Operate within a defined territory. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all core UDC products and new offerings. Work collaboratively with other internal stakeholders. Ensure UDC's standards of compliance and operational excellence are maintained. Responsible for identifying new business opportunities for both new and existing customers. Your Experience: Portfolio complexity requires a seasoned professional typically someone with at least 3-5 years' experience. Presents strongly and confidently in a public situation. Our customers are all 'can do' small to medium-sized business owners; so we're looking for someone who can relate to and work with such people. Ability to analyse financial accounts, budget, and cash-flow requirements. Has the experience and know-how to evaluate return on investment. Ability to identify the early warning signals of deteriorating business and work with Regional Manager & Lending Support to ensure an active management plan is implemented with clients. Able to develop strong relationships with clients through high dependency on remote contact. Excellent solution selling skills. Able to link product features and benefits to customer needs when presenting a proposal to a customer.
