About the role:
We are looking for a Legal Personal Assistant to join our commercial team. Whilst commercial knowledge is advantageous, we are more interested in your ability to transfer your existing administrative and secretarial skills into the legal industry. You will pride yourself on delivering an excellent client experience for the people you support by carrying out your role in a professional, friendly, timely, and accurate manner.
Key responsibilities:
Secretarial and administrative support including:
Transcribe dictation/word processing
Assist with billing and invoicing efficiently and accurately
Open new clients and matters in accordance with firm policy
Provide AML support to fee earners
Assist with commercial documents and transactions
Document management with accurate organisation
Establish good working relationships and deliver excellent customer experience to our clients and the people you support
Skills and experience required:
Previous experience working in a secretarial or administrative role
Legal experience advantageous
A genuine interest in supporting people
Proficiency in utilising the Microsoft Office suite
High level of integrity and discretion
Strong time management and organisational skills
Attention to detail with a quality focus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
