Whilst commercial knowledge is advantageous, we are more interested in your ability to transfer your existing administrative and secretarial skills into the legal industry.
You will pride yourself on delivering an excellent client experience for the people you support by carrying out your role in a professional, friendly, timely and accurate manner.
Key responsibilities: Secretarial and administrative support including:Transcribe dictation/word processingAssist with billing and invoicing efficiently and accuratelyOpen new clients and matters in accordance with firm policyProvide AML support to fee earnersAssist with commercial documents and transactionsDocument management with accurate organisationEstablish good working relationships and deliver excellent customer experience to our clients and the people you support Skills and experience required: Previous experience working in a secretarial or administrative roleLegal experience advantageousA genuine interest in supporting peopleProficiency in utilising the Microsoft Office suiteHigh level of integrity and discretionStrong time management and organisational skillsAttention to detail with a quality focusExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsWe have an inclusive, respectful, and friendly culture; a supportive and collaborative environment; and are based in modern, riverside offices in Christchurch's CBD.
