This is why we stand out as a market leader!This newly developed commercial lead role is responsible for business partnering, driving strategic and financial outcomes for the New Zealand branch network.Key activities:Partner in delivering strategic and P&L performance for NZ operations.Build an advanced analytical decision support capability to support both strategic and tactical decisions.Assist in strategy and transformation; help solve business challenges through effective problem-solving, identifying opportunities and translating recommendations into execution plans.Bring clarity across budgeting and forecasting: Build and own the planning and forecasting framework (monthly, quarterly and annual) across the NZ.Managing and navigating ambiguity; gather information and context from stakeholders, simplify the insights, provide accurate business performance updates and develop recommendations to overcome market and business volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity.Deliver value; continuously evaluate opportunities for enhancement of systems (PowerBI, TM1, Phocas) and process capabilities to maximise effectiveness and ensure seamless accurate reporting rhythm.Scenario planning and analysis - predictive modelling to understand the business impacts.Develop business cases for capital and operational investments.Benefits / initiative tracking and pipeline reporting.Corporate development and growth; partner with leadership and M&A team to execute transactions and manage post integration of the acquired businesses.Empower non-finance stakeholders; build strong network with the sales and operational teams, empower and improve financial capability among non-finance members to drive ownership.Key skills and capabilities:5+ years of relevant work experience in Strategy, Business & Finance Transformation, Commercial Finance and FP&A.CPA and CA membership (preferable but not a requirement).Commercial & analytical lens; experience handling and analysing complex, high volume data with great attention to detail.
