Today, the name Armitage Williams is synonymous with professionalism, dedication, safety and quality without compromise in all aspects of construction.An exciting full-time position has become available for a Commercial Fit-out Site Manager for AW Interiors, a division of Armitage Williams Construction, which is a well-established Christchurch based commercial construction company.ResponsibilitiesThis varied, busy and interesting role has a wide range of responsibilities, and to be successful in the role you will need:to be a qualified carpenter, have full understanding of the NZ Building code;relevant experience as a Site Manager, with a minimum of 5 years NZ Site Manager experience and knowledge in commercial & office fitouts, refurbishments, including site project management experience;co-ordinate and manage site staff and sub-contractors to ensure on time project completion;have a proven record of project, programming and QA delivery; ability to manage multiple projects;adaptability as changes evolve quickly and be fully solution focused;excellent communication and computer skills, highly organised with a high level of attention to detail, to be diligent, reliable and pro-active;comply with all Armitage Williams Construction policies and procedures;drive a "safety first" culture where people clearly demonstrate safe behaviours and think safety before taking action, reporting incidents and assist in Health & Safety investigations as required;have the ability to work positively, enthusiastically, and collaboratively in a team;thrive working for a progressive company, and that has a strong forward workload;Position description is available on request.Applicants must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.If you are interested in applying for this role, please email your CV and a covering letter to ******.
