The company values innovation, collaboration, and those with strong ambitions, and are looking for those who want to be part of an internationally growing New Zealand business.The RoleLead the company's finance functions, reporting directly to the owners and Board.Build and develop a high-performing finance team to ensure the business can deliver timely and accurate reporting and information.Oversee company insurances, manage banking relationships, and work with external accounting partners both in New Zealand and overseas.Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to the management team and be a part of the decision-making processes that support the company in meeting its commercial objectives.Lead the implementation of financial systems and processes.Support strategic business initiatives and partnerships, including M&A activity and the establishment of joint venture partnerships.Provide financial insights and support for the day-to-day running of the business.Be flexible and committed to working outside usual office hours as needed to meet the needs of a growing, international business.Your Profile5+ years' experience in a commercial management / commercial finance manager type role within an operational business (manufacturing, logistics, retail etc.
).Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team, and the ability to provide support / stand in for Directors as required.Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities, as well as strong negotiation and communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively across different regions and departments.A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Flexibility and commitment to working outside usual office hours as needed, due to the global nature of the organisation.Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or CFA are preferred.Hold full, unrestricted working rights for New Zealand and be based in or relocating to Christchurch.Profile Group offices are closed from Monday 23rd December, re-opening on Monday 13th January 2025, at which point we will be reviewing and responding to applications.During this time, phones will be diverted, so for more information about this role, please email me on ****** and I will respond upon my return to the office.
