Commercial Door Technician

A family based company working in the New Zealand door industry servicing New Zealand's largest commercial portfolios. Due to increased growth we are looking for our next Technician. Experience in a trade - Electrical, mechanical, engineering, joinery.

Role: Commercial Door Technician.
Hours : Monday- Friday -  Min of 40 hours.
Pay Rate : $30-40/ hour DOE. Time and a half for after hours work.

Repair and diagnose faults in all types of entrance systems. Service, maintenance and installation of auto doors, roller doors, manual doors, high speed doors and gates. Full training and upskilling programme Pathway to Electrical Service Technician Site to site repairs for breakdowns or planned maintenance Skills and experience:   Ideally experience in the Door industry. Experience in the trades industry such as; electrical, mechanical engineering, joinery. Experience and willingness to work with mechanical and electrical equipment. Full drivers licence essential ( Manual advantageous )  This role will work out of the Christchurch Branch. Some travel required around the South Is.  Will be required to pass vetting for the Department of Corrections, NZ police and Avsec. What's in it for you: Good remuneration.
