To achieve this, you will need to interact positively with customers to understand their needs then translate their needs into sales. Success is measured by achieving your targets and identifying new markets and developing them. If you can work unsupervised and achieve results, this role is for you.About you:Being able to explain our market reach and form strategic partnerships with commercial enterprises in the agricultural and water storage sectors is what you will enjoy doing. Your abilities to understand market dynamics and create tailored solutions for commercial clients is what you are known for. Your selling technique centres on creating long-term business relationships which delivers true benefits to REL and its clients. Your experience and drive will make you a valued member of our sales team who specialise in commercial customers.Key Responsibilities:Identify and target new business opportunities within the commercial agricultural sector, focusing on bulk storage solutions such as silos and related equipment.Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients, understanding their specific needs and providing customized solutions to enhance their operations.Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, competitor activity, and potential opportunities within the commercial agriculture and water storage landscape.Collaborate within REL to develop strategies and promotional materials targeting commercial customers.Prepare and present persuasive sales proposals and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of commercial clients.Negotiate contracts effectively to close deals while ensuring terms are favourable for both parties.Attend industry trade shows and commercial agricultural events to network and promote our offerings.Utilize company resources effectively for optimal outcomes, ensuring client needs are met with the best possible solutions.Assist in the development of processes that streamline operations and enhance client satisfaction.Keep management informed on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback to inform business strategy.Qualifications:Previous experience in sales or business development focusing on commercial clients in the agricultural and/or water storage sectors, with a solid track record of achieving sales targets.In-depth knowledge of commercial agricultural practices and equipment, particularly regarding bulk storage solutions like silos.Excellent communication, bargaining, and relationship-building skills.Strong analytical abilities to assess market conditions and identify strategic opportunities.Highly self-motivated with a proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite is required.Willingness to travel throughout New Zealand and Australia to meet with clients and attend industry events.What We Offer:Competitive remuneration structure.Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.A dynamic work environment that values teamwork and innovation.Flexibility to operate as a contractor with access to company resources for the best outcome.How to Apply:If you are passionate about commercial agriculture and water storage solutions and ready to contribute to a leading company in the industry, we want to hear from you!Application Deadline: 23 September.Join REL in our mission to deliver exceptional rural equipment and water storage solutions for commercial customers!
