Our client, a leading insurance brokerage in Christchurch, is on the lookout for a skilled Commercial Broker Support / Team Leader to support and guide a high-performing team alongside senior management. This role offers a unique blend of hands-on support and oversight, allowing you to make a real impact within the business.
About the Role
In this role, you'll oversee a team of 3, working closely with 2 Senior Commercial Brokers along with broker support and personal lines broker colleagues. Your leadership will ensure efficient processes and high standards of service, supporting both commercial and rural clients.
Your Responsibilities:
Team Oversight: Support the team, ensuring everyone stays on track with renewals and compliance.
Reporting & Administration: Manage the monthly bordereaux, end-of-month reporting, and other key administrative duties.
Hands-On Broker Support: Jump in to assist with client needs, renewals, and urgent tasks.
Compliance & Regulatory Work: Collaborate with senior management to implement compliance processes and handle regulatory tasks.
What You Bring
3 - 5 Years Experience: in commercial broking support, within a brokerage environment.
Leadership Abilities: A strong track record of managing and supporting small teams.
Administrative Excellence: Proven skill in documentation, reporting, and attention to detail.
Exceptional Organisation & Communication: Ability to coordinate effectively with team members and clients.
