Our client, a leading local financial services provider with over thirty years of experience, seeks a dynamic Commercial Broker to join its team. Specializing in business and personal insurance, this company is renowned for its trusted and high-quality service. The role is a full-time, permanent position ideal for someone with at least five years of experience in General Insurance, covering both commercial and domestic products. Familiarity with insurance broking administration is also required. Key responsibilities include: Managing the full life cycle of commercial clients, including annual renewals, inclusions, exclusions, endorsements, and cancellations Handling complex client coverage with support from a dedicated leader and the wider team Providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with clients Maintaining and developing your book of business Managing client quotes and renewals Negotiating policy terms with insurers Ideal candidates will possess: New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 (General Insurance Strand) or equivalent Top-notch professionalism and customer service skills Integrity and confidentiality Strong time management and attention to detail Excellent communication skills Flexibility and adaptability What's on offer: A competitive salary commensurate with your experience.
