Commercial Analyst | Contract

On behalf of a large scale fast moving commercial client, we are on the lookout for a Commercial / Financial Analyst based in Christchurch. This is a 12-month engagement aimed at providing additional finance support, particularly for capital raise initiatives.
About the role:
As the Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting finance activities, with a focus on capital raise projects. You will drive decision-making during this crucial period.
Key Responsibilities:
Strong Excel experience to develop robust financial models.
Proficiency in creating insightful dashboards to visualize key metrics.
Handling large datasets adeptly to draw meaningful insights.
Applying accounting principles to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Analyze risk & value in financial data to assist with critical business decisions.
About you:
Experience in preparation & analysis of business cases.
Experience in managing large volumes of data.
Background in accounting.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant role.
