In this role you'll report to and work alongside our Commercial Manager.Ideally, you'll live in Waikato. You'll work from our Te Awamutu office, in-field with customers and from your home base. Some overnight planned travel throughout New Zealand will be required.This Role Has Two Key Deliverables:You'll support and provide training to our commercial customers, identifying, forecasting and reporting on their ongoing and new product requirements.You will also actively hunt out new commercial business opportunities, identifying and approaching those businesses that use the ingredients and products that Fertco manufactures and supplies.You'll be both a successful hunter and account manager. You'll also be able to think outside the square to identify and convert opportunities to enduring, mutually beneficial commercial relationships.Competencies Required To Be Successful Include:Strong sales and account management skills within the horticultural or agricultural industry.Experience working in a B2B environment - preferred.Commercial literacy, planning and forecasting skills.The confidence to deliver technical training.Strong computer literacy.Fertco recognises that our people are at the very core of our success.
