Seeking an experienced registered mental health Nurse to join Awhi Matua, community mental health team for older adults.
Permanent, Full-time (40 hours) per week, based at Greenlane Clinical Centre, right next to Cornwall Park. Monday to Friday working week, 8am to 4.30pm.
The OpportunityAwhi Matua is a specialist community mental health team, based in Greenlane Clinical Centre. The team serves the central Auckland population of adults over 65 who are experiencing acute mental ill-health or behavioral difficulties associated with dementia.
The team will work with people from acute crisis through to continuing care. We provide a range of specialist assessment and treatment delivered by a multidisciplinary team. The aim is to enhance mental health recovery and optimize quality of life through supporting our people and their family to lead their best lives and live well in their community.

Important SkillsIf you're New Zealand based, ideally you will be a NZ-registered Mental Health nurse with a current Annual Practicing Certificate and a full, clean driver's license. If you're currently overseas, please visit the Nursing Council of New Zealand website to check your eligibility to gain NZ registration and practicing certificate.

You will be a NZ registered Mental Health Nurse, with a minimum of three years clinical experience. Ideally, you will have a postgraduate certificate/diploma in specialty mental health practice.
