Collection Manager - Art

Do you have a passion for art and a love for galleries?
Come work with Te Manawa's exciting collection of local and nationally significant New Zealand art.
This role in our collections team is a wonderful opportunity to take a step up and champion the care of our collection of over 3000 artworks, while giving registration support for our busy art exhibitions programme.
We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail who is highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects at once; and a confident communicator who has the ability to balance public access to artworks in our care, while ensuring their long-term wellbeing.
This job would suit applicants with a Post-graduate degree in Museum and Heritage Studies and/or a Graduate degree in Art History, Fine Arts or Similar with 1-3 years' experience in an art handling and care-based role within a museum or gallery.
