This role supports the effective delivery of the Suncorp New Zealand (SNZ) Conduct of Financial Institutions (CoFI) Project in key workstreams and supporting the delivery of work to embed CoFI compliance in business processes, policies, systems and controls.
Please note this is a fixed-term contract until June 2025.
What you'll do: Coordinate the delivery of CoFI project workstreams in accordance with project flight plan.Lead CoFI project standups and participate in other project related activities such as director education sessions, customer immersions and leadership team briefings and project reporting.Participate in industry CoFI working groups and related consultations.Advise as a subject matter expert on the CoFI implications of business activity including incident management, product governance, remunerations and incentives, intermediary conduct, and customer communications.Maintain oversight of CoFI FCP relevant data to gain insights into customer perspectives and issues and opportunities to improve customer outcomes.What you'll bring: 5+ years of relevant assurance/risk management experience.Good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively negotiate, facilitate and influence.Demonstrated ability to provide sound advice, guidance and challenge to relevant stakeholders.Ability to convey and explain information, succinctly and clearly, for both oral and written communication to a range of audiences.Strong commercial and financial services acumen.Committed to creating great customer experiences.Tertiary qualification in risk, business, commerce, finance, law desired.What we can offer you: Fixed term contract until June 2025Positive, inclusive team environment where we welcome individuality and celebrate diversity.Flexible working environment and arrangements; genuine focus on work-life balanceOngoing learning and development opportunitiesAbout Suncorp: We're proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia and New Zealand's most trusted names in insurance – working together to bring about faster, simpler and better outcomes for our customers and corporate partners.
