Learn more about Abodo's carefully crafted timber products at www.abodo.co.nz.About the role:We're looking for an energetic and strategic Coating Line Lead to lead our warehouse team and ensure the seamless execution of all coating and brushing orders. This role combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to drive process improvements, optimize systems, and execute the coating line strategy. As a key leader, you'll mentor and support your team while fostering an environment of growth and development.Based at our Mangere site, you'll play a critical role in shaping the coating strategy and aligning it with our production targets. If you have a knack for leadership and operational excellence, this could be the perfect role for you! This role requires you to work Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, with the need for flexibility to accommodate the demands of the production schedule.Day in the life:Lead and motivate the team, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture aligned with Abodo's values.Develop and execute the coating strategy to meet production targets.Oversee coating production, ensuring a smooth workflow and resource optimization.Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate production records.Implement and improve coating line processes to meet legal and company standards.Drive continuous improvement initiatives for coating efficiency and effectiveness.Champion Health & Safety practices, identifying and managing risks.Report on performance against targets, supporting the Mangere Site Manager & QA Packing Team Lead.About you:2 - 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or production environment.A strategic mindset with strong attention to detail.Proven people management skills to foster team growth and performance.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.A forklift license is ideal but not essential.What we offer:Yearly BonusHealth InsuranceLife and Income ProtectionOpportunities for Learning and DevelopmentA supportive and inclusive culture that values growth and teamworkJoin a fast-paced, growing industry focused on sustainable building materials.
