Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Contract Manager to lead the Coastal Otago Network Outcomes Contract (CONOC).
This pivotal role is based in Dunedin and offers the opportunity to work with an industry leader, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive business planning and development initiatives across the Coastal Otago Region.
Work collaboratively with the Lower South Leadership Team to identify opportunities, ensure clarity in business planning, and align operational activities with organisational objectives.
Oversee all CONOC contract activities, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and meet customer expectations in terms of quality, timeframes, and budget.
Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure profitability across all CONOC operations.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and risk management through robust systems, ongoing training, and effective communication.
Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary management role, preferably in civil infrastructure, construction, or road maintenance.
Effective, open communication skills to build strong relationships with Clients and team members.
Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentoring and inspiring high performing teams.
Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management expertise.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders.
A collaborative and results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation and customer excellence.
