This role includes working in the community with adults over 65 years and those of Maori and Pasifika descent over 55 years.We are seeking to recruit a senior nurse who can ensure they deliver clinical and cultural best practice across the region. This role will be based in Palmerston North but supported by a team of nurses who engage in comprehensive assessments and support, within the care continuum in a variety of care settings including people's homes, throughout Te Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua, MidCentral.Responsibilities:Deliver clinical and cultural best practices.Engage in comprehensive assessments and support.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary teams, community organisations, and cultural groups.Minimum Requirements:A minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience in nursing roles that include working with people with dementia and functional mental illness, and frailty in a secondary care setting.Advanced nursing expertise, clinical assessment, and coordination of support.A relevant Masters qualification with prescribing qualifications (or working towards in an agreed timeframe) that includes postgraduate courses in the specialty of mental health nursing.Current driver's license with no restrictions.Enquiries toJudy Boxall, Operations Lead, Te Uru Whakamauora l Healthy Ageing and Rehabilitation Email: ****** OrganisationTe Pae Hauora o Ruahine o Tararua MidCentral (MidCentral) is part of Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora and provides healthcare services to over 180,000 people across the Manawatu, Horowhenua and Tararua regions.
