What you will be doing
As one of the CMG Electricians based in our Central Maintenance group, you could find yourself working in any of our plants covering both Glenbrook and Waikato North Head.
On a day-to-day basis, you will help maintain our plants by ensuring they are in good condition and available to achieve the production requirements. You will do this by:
Completing planned repair work as per the maintenance schedules
Carrying out preventative maintenance work ensuring quality outcomes and feedback are achieved.
Providing technical support for electrical, mechanical, and operational investigation/fault-finding
Our plants cover large areas, some are multi-storied so at times you will find yourself covering a bit of ground! This is a day position working Monday to Friday with the requirement to cover plant hold days/shuts and optional overtime as required as well as occasional callouts.
What you will bring to the role
You will need to be an experienced registered electrician with a naturally strong work ethic and the ability to produce high-quality work. You pride yourself on attention to detail and your problem-solving skills. You will need to be comfortable working either unsupervised or within a team and your excellent communication skills will be used to provide regular feedback and requests to the Plant Maintenance Engineers across the business.
To be considered for this role you must hold your electrical registration and a current practicing license with EWRB. Experience with HV or commercial/industrial worksites would be advantageous together with an instrumentation background.
