You may know us for our flagship COLORSTEEL brand.What you will be doingAs one of the CMG Electricians based in our Central Maintenance group, you could find yourself working in any of our plants covering both Glenbrook and Waikato North Head.On a day-to-day basis, you will help maintain our plants by ensuring they are in good condition and available to achieve the production requirements.
You will do this by:Completing planned repair work as per the maintenance schedulesCarrying out preventative maintenance work ensuring quality outcomes and feedback are achieved.Providing technical support for electrical, mechanical, and operational investigation/fault-findingOur plants cover large areas; some are multi-storied so at times you will find yourself covering a bit of ground!
This is a day position working Monday to Friday with the requirement to cover plant hold days/shuts and optional overtime as required as well as occasional callouts.What you will bring to the roleYou will need to be an experienced registered electrician with a naturally strong work ethic and the ability to produce high-quality work.
You pride yourself on attention to detail and your problem-solving skills.
You will need to be comfortable working either unsupervised or within a team, and your excellent communication skills will be used to provide regular feedback and requests to the Plant Maintenance Engineers across the business.To be considered for this role, you must hold your electrical registration and a current practicing license with EWRB.
