Club Capability Manager

Our purpose is to inspire a sense of belonging for all, and we're looking for a Club Capability Manager to help deliver on our 2028 Strategy for a healthy club network.
This newly created role will focus on enhancing the performance and sustainability of rugby clubs within the Canterbury region through strategic development and resource management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of a Club Capability Framework to support club operations, providing the necessary support, training, and resources to allow our clubs to flourish.
You will achieve this by fostering strong relationships, maintaining effective communication between Canterbury Rugby, Sub-Unions, and local clubs, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals and community needs.
Working with rugby clubs to identify their needs and develop tailored strategies to enhance their operational capabilities, you will provide guidance and support in areas such as governance, finance, volunteer management, and player development as identified with the club.
In addition to this, you will also assist clubs in creating and implementing long-term development plans.
