Your next role
Our client is looking for an ambitious Cloud Engineer passionate about delivering bold business ambitions on migrating into the Cloud. Joining their team will take you on a journey of personal and technical growth and provide the opportunity to inspire confidence and empower change.
As a Cloud Engineer, you will take responsibility for managing cloud infrastructure, including the network and other compute resources. The Cloud Engineer plays a hands-on technical role as part of a high functioning team supporting the business and provides expert functional and technical support across multiple applications and technologies.
What you will do:
Understand and document technical requirements of the projectsSupport and participate in defining migration strategy to move applications to the IaaS/PaaSSupport and participate in development of architecture blueprints and detailed documentation. Create bill of materials, including required Cloud Services and toolsSupport and participate in designing and setting up the overall Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.Setup Compute, Database, Block Volumes, Storage, Network within OCIWrite Terraform scripts to provision and manage OCI artifactsSet up processes, services and tools around cloudValidate the environment to meet all security and compliance controlsMonitor OCI environment and provide regular reportingIssue management and resolution
About you:
Strong network engineering backgroundAny cloud engineering experience will be consideredAbility to engage with both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to motivate and lead an offshore support team
