The clinical typists provide a vital service to patients, families/whānau and health professionals. Your high level of attention to detail will ensure the accurate and timely transformation of incoming dictation from clinical areas into formal letters, so that information is available to others involved in a patient - s care, when it is needed. The Clinical Typist role requires you to deliver accurate and timely transcription services to clinicians, as well as managing the processing of transcribed clinical documents on a daily basis. Some of your duties will include: * Transcribe dictation from clinicians * Manage the processing of clinical documents * Communicate with staff both clinical and non-clinical * Other general administration dutiesPlease note you will be based Wellington Regional Hospital (but expected to work Kenepuru Hospital and Hutt Valley Hospital when required).
