An exciting opportunity has arisen foran experienced Registered Nurse with outstanding leadership skills to join ourteam at our Elmwood facility in Napier as our new Clinical Team Leader.
About the role As Clinical Team Leader, you willsupport our clinical team to deliver top level care to our residents.
Reporting to our Clinical NurseManager, you will be responsible for the day to day operational guidance and coordinationof the nurses and care staff. You will supportthe smooth running of our clinical functions and provide developmental supportto our team as we strive for excellence in care.
This role is 72 hours per fortnight (0.9FTE) with occasional weekend shifts required. You will also be required to participate inthe shared on-call.
Key skills and experience We are looking for someone with:
Previous experience in a similar role or senior nursing experiencewith strong leadership ability looking to step up;A current annual practising certificate with the Nursing Council ofNew Zealand;Skills and experience in olderhealth, dementia and palliative care;InterRai trained;Empathy and patience with elderly residents;A friendly and professional manner;If this sounds like you, come andjoin our fabulous team at Napier District Masonic Trust as we continue tostrive to be leaders in elder person care.
