The role contributes to supervision and coaching of team members towards sector integration and recovery-focused care.About the TeamWe provide a full range of mental health and alcohol and drug services including assessment, group therapy, family/whanau and individual interventions. We work with both the person and their family to achieve the best possible results.About youTo be successful, you will have:A recognised qualification in Alcohol and Drug Studies, Counselling, Social Work, Nursing, Social Sciences or related fieldsRegistered with a professional body. If not a registered health professional, eligibility for DAPAANZ registration or Provisional RegistrationA minimum of 3 years' experience in the addiction's specialty areaA current full drivers' licence and ability to travel throughout Northland as requiredCompetency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growthExperience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
