As a vital member of the team, you'll be enhancing patient outcomes by performing Secondary triage calls; clinical advice and support; and guidance to our operational road staff and Ambulance Communications team in the Hato Hone St John communication centres.This is a full-time permanent position working 42 hours per week, between Monday to Sunday based in either Auckland or Christchurch. Performing secondary triage to maximise the clinical safety of the pending dispatch queue and offer real-time clinical advice and alternative clinical options to our lower acuity patients.Key responsibilities include:Liaising directly with other members of the wider Clinical Hub such as the Deputy Medical Directors and the Patient Care Plan teamMaking and supporting clinical treatment decisions virtuallyWorking collaboratively with Ambulance Communications and CSO staff across the countryTaking a lead role in demonstrating and promoting clinical best practiceBeing a clinical leader within the Integrated Operations CentreQualificationsKo wai koe - About you:You will possess excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills and be able to apply these in a variety of settings.
