Preop / PACU Clinical Specialty Nurse (CSN) - Manukau Health Park Full-time

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced RN with relevant knowledge and skill as a Preop / PACU nurse to further develop their clinical leadership and expertise in this field of nursing.
Supported by a dedicated team of Preop / PACU nurses, the Clinical Specialty Nurse (CSN) position is a busy and challenging role involving the leadership and coordination of Preop / PACU resources and patient flow through Preop / PACU.
Ensuring timely patient care, monitoring patient length of stay along with clinical support for the Preop / PACU team, are strong aspects of this role.
The PACU department in Manukau Health Park covers Preop, PACU Stage 1 and PACU Stage 2; servicing 10 operating theatres and 2 endoscopy procedure rooms, supporting a wide variety of elective surgeries such as Ophthalmology, ORL, Urology, Gynaecology, Hands and Plastics, Orthopaedics, and General Surgery.
