We offer a supportive and collaborative environment where you'll work alongside a team of experienced Forensic psychologists, psychiatrists, and Allied Health professionals.Ka aha Koe | What you'll do:Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including risk assessments for self-harm, harm to others, and vulnerability.Develop and implement individualised treatment plans incorporating psychotherapy and behavioural strategies.Prepare forensic reports, clearly communicating complex psychological concepts to legal professionals.Build strong therapeutic relationships with young people, taking into account their developmental stage, cultural background, and individual experiences.Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, psychologists, lawyers, and law enforcement officers.Work collaboratively with other professionals within the youth justice system.Contribute to the ongoing development of our specialist service.Minimum Requirements:You will be a Registered Clinical Psychologist with a minimum of 2 years' experience in child and adolescent mental health service.You will have a strong understanding of child and adolescent development.You will be experienced in conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions.You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.You will be a team player with a commitment to collaboration.For more information about this role please contact Nicole Robertson at ******: Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai AucklandPlease submit your application online, outlining your experience and motivation to apply to this role.
