This role will include preparing formal reports on their mental health needs for the Courts and other agencies, and providing short term therapies and consultation to a small number of young people.
Due to increased demand and growth of the service, we are looking for neuropsychologists to join our team. It is essential that you are a NZ Registered Psychologist.
Nga Pukenga Motuhake Important Skills We are looking for a culturally competent dynamic clinician, who has experience in child and adolescent work preferably in the neuropsychology scope and forensic services.
You will be able to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, deliver effective evidence-based treatment strategies for young people who present to the service, and work collaboratively with other team members and other services.
A high standard of report writing is required. Key responsibilities include providing direct clinical neuropsychological assessment services in the clinic, preparing reports and other documents on patient status for referring physicians, and training and supervising predoctoral and/or postdoctoral trainees.
