Clinical Psychologist - Mental Health Older Adults at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitemata, AucklandClinical Psychologist - Te Whatu Ora WaitemataPermanent, Part-Time Role0.4 FTE/ 32 hours per fortnightBased in Waitakere HospitalMonday-FridayAbout UsMHSOA provides a comprehensive service to people over the age of 65 years who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or cognitive change.About YouWe currently have a vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist in our small, well-functioning, multidisciplinary Sub-acute Treatment and Rehabilitation (STaR) community team. The team provides intensive, recovery-focused treatment and support for people with complex mental health needs and works across the culturally diverse population of Auckland's Waitemata region.We are looking for a motivated Clinical Psychologist with the skills to engage in:psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, evidence-based interventions/therapy modalitiesspecialist mental health assessment and safety planningcare coordination for a proportion of clients receiving psychological interventionsThis position provides the opportunity to increase and enhance clinical skills across the range of psychological interventions (including neuropsychological assessments) within an established and supportive work environment.Under the APEX collective contract, psychologists receive up to $2500 each per year for Continuing Professional Development, which can be accumulated over two years to $5000.
