Clinical Psychologist - Mental Health Older Adults at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Waitemata, AucklandClinical Psychologist - Te Whatu Ora WaitemataPermanent, Part-Time Role0.9 FTE/ 72 hours per fortnightBased in Waitakere HospitalMonday-FridayAbout UsMHSOA provides a comprehensive service to people over the age of 65 years who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or cognitive change.About YouWe currently have a vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist in our cohesive, well-functioning, multidisciplinary community team serving the culturally diverse population of West Auckland.We are looking for a motivated Clinical Psychologist with the skills to engage in:psychological assessment and neuropsychological assessmentevidence-based interventions/therapy modalitiesspecialist mental health assessment and safety planningcare coordination for a proportion of clients receiving psychological interventionsThis position provides the opportunity to increase and enhance clinical skills across the range of psychological interventions, including neuropsychological assessments, within an established and supportive work environment.Under the APEX collective contract, psychologists receive up to $2500 each per year for Continuing Professional Development, which can be accumulated over two years to $5000.
