Clinical Psychologist - Te Whatu Ora Waitemata Permanent, Part-Time Role 0.4 FTE / 32 hours per fortnight Based in Waitakere Hospital Monday-Friday About Us MHSOA provides a comprehensive service to people over the age of 65 years who are experiencing mental health difficulties and/or cognitive change.

About You We currently have a vacancy for a Clinical Psychologist in our small, well-functioning, multidisciplinary Sub-acute Treatment and Rehabilitation (STaR) community team. The team provides intensive, recovery-focused treatment and support for people with complex mental health needs and works across the culturally diverse population of Auckland's Waitemata region.

We are looking for a motivated Clinical Psychologist with the skills to engage in:

Psychological assessment, neuropsychological assessment, evidence-based interventions/therapy modalities Specialist mental health assessment and safety planning Care co-ordination for a proportion of clients receiving psychological interventions This position provides the opportunity to increase and enhance clinical skills across the range of psychological interventions, including neuropsychological assessments, within an established and supportive work environment.

Under the APEX collective contract, psychologists receive up to $2500 each per year for Continuing Professional Development, which can be accumulated over two years to $5000. This offers the chance to attend overseas conferences or multiple workshops, plus books and subscriptions each year.

This is a permanent position based at Waitakere Hospital, and a current APC is required.
