We are currently looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join us. Our service delivery model is CAPA, the Choice and Partnership Approach.The role involves providing assessments and brief interventions for service users and psychological consultancy to the team and whole-service delivery. There is scope for development of the role and of the therapeutic environment. The role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, peer support, consumer and cultural advisors, and to work alongside service users and their family/whanau as they navigate a time of mental health crisis, to help them make sense of their experiences in the context of their lives, and to move towards resolution of that crisis and recovery.We are looking to recruit a Clinical Psychologist with:Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalentRegistration with the NZ Psychology Board as a Registered Psychologist with a Clinical Scope of practiceProven psychological, psychometric and neuropsychological assessment skillsExperience in brief psychological interventions preferredExperience in Child Youth and Family mental health settingsAbility to work autonomously and within short timeframesThe Clinical Psychologist role is supported by a professional senior (Principal Psychologist – Adult MHS) and a professional advisor (Psychology Lead Advisor) within Mental Health Services. You will also be part of a broader team of 25 psychologists across adult mental health services.
