(Depending on experience)We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist with a sound knowledge of best-practice psychological theories and treatment approaches to work with adults experiencing mental health difficulties within a forensic context. While not essential, previous experience with forensic, correctional, or other high risk-high needs clients would be an advantage. You will be part of a supportive and experienced multidisciplinary team that provides specialist care to forensic clients in hospital, prison and in the community.The ideal candidate(s) will have a sound understanding of mental health and addiction and the impact of these issues on clients, their whanau and the community. The work also includes some consultancy to other services and support for functioning and development of their teams and the organisation as a whole. Good supervision will be provided both on an individual basis and as part of the multidisciplinary team review meetings. You must have a minimum of a Masters Degree in Psychology and Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
