Combined Mental Health Service, InvercargillSalary band - $85,000 - $130,000 p.a, pro rata, Kiwisaver, free on-site parkingPermanent, part-time (0.8 FTE), 32 hours per weekCompetitive salary, discounted health insurance, free parkingJoin a supportive and high performing multi-disciplinary teamMo te turanga - About the role:Provide outpatient clinics and outreach services to people living in Invercargill and the wider Southland areaWork within an innovative service, with an integrated model of care across community and inpatient settingsApply your experience to provide optimal assessment, treatment, and psychotherapy for those experiencing moderate to severe psychological distressApply diagnostics, formulation, treatment planning and cognitive therapy skills alongside our multi-disciplinary teamProvide follow-up to clients through a key worker/case manager systemAssist in the support and mentoring of intern psychologistsMinimum Requirements:Motivated team player with exceptional communication and time management skillsPrevious demonstrated experience of working with adult patients with mental illness in a community settingCurrent registration with the NZ Psychologists Board and a current Annual Practicing Certificate with a Clinical Scope of PracticeThrive in a busy and diverse working environment, with the ability to work well in stressful situationsDemonstrated commitment to clinical and professional development, including continuous learning and updating of skills and knowledgeTe Whatu Ora - Southern:The Southern district offers the benefits of excellent amenities, first class primary through to tertiary education, affordable housing, and outstanding recreational opportunities.
